What does it mean to be fortunate? Is it coincidental wealth or prestige? Is it something we earn? Is it success in a career? What can we learn from others. I think that a life of fortune involves many months of patience, and time spent with God thinking of what can lie ahead. With God, you can do no wrong. He is the guiding light of our existence, and if we follow this course, we can expect to find nothing but success. A fortunate existence must involve him, and it is only with him that we can obtain an everlasting existence.
Sometimes we can be misled into thinking that others are more fortunate than us, and that is brought on by envy and misinformation. If we knew the full story of their lives, and consequences of their actions, say for instance, a really successful athlete or an actor or some politician, you would understand that it is more about who you know and how far you are willing to go for a fleeting glimpse of success and fortune than what is lasting and everlasting. God will grant you more wealth than you ever dreamed, so please, take life as it comes, and don’t be misled into thinking that worldly gain is all you need to live your best life. Your best, most fortunate life is yet to come with God, his Kingdom, and with everlasting life.
