A life of expectation can mean many things: wealth, career success, money, financial gain, social upward mobility, and marriage. Sometimes it means more than that – sexual gratification, love, and becoming a parent. It can be daunting to think of all the possibilities that you could want for your life: babies, cars, homes, prestige, stability, the list goes on. What matters is that you’re fulfilling your daily needs and meeting the faith – filled expectations of God. What God wants you to do is be more in the present instead of the future, because no one truly knows how life can turn. It is equally as important that you plan for the future in terms of how well things are going currently, to be realistic, as well as fortunate.
